This service includes support for the following:
- Analog faxing through fax machine - either stand-alone or a multi-functional device.
- An analog line, provided by IT department, is also required to send and receive faxes.
Activities included
- Provide Physical Connectivity.
- Provide Fax Numbers.
- Configure Fax Line and provide dial tone.
- Enable National [Zero] and International [double Zero] dialing.
Activities Not included
- Purchase of Fax machines.
- Purchase or replacement of Fax Machine Papers or Toners.
- Budget for analog line phone usage costs.
- Support for coping, printing, and scanning in the Multi-Functional Printer.
Sunday – Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00, Excluding the university holidays.
End-user training is available upon request.
Clients are required to submit Analog Fax support requests via any of the IT Service Desk available options - See Further Information or Support.
Analog Fax service is available to the client upon request. There is a fee for the initial setup an analog phone line. The requesting department is responsible for the ongoing telephone charges on the fax line.
This service is provided to clients without any fees.

Clients of this Service :
Faculty and Staff in all campus buildings.
Thy are eligible for the following support:
- Sending faxes to Local, Domestic and International numbers*.
- Sending/receiving faxes everywhere (on-campus and off-campus).
- Extension Authorization Code to lock/unlock Fax and dialing**.
* Head Department approval is sought to enable the Domestic and international dialing.
** More features are available on demand.
