Non Academic Printing Support

Service Description 

This service includes support for the following:

Printers located in the non-academic areas (Main building, Student Center, Health Center, Sports Complex, Leisure Center, Youth Center and Staff working in dorms).

Activities included

  • Install Printers.
  • Troubleshoot printer issues.

Activities Not included

  • Budgeting for printing.
  • Maintaining and supporting network printers.
  • Providing technical support for non AUS tagged printers.
  • Providing printer consumables - papers and cartridges.
Service Availability 

Sunday – Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00, Excluding university holidays.

Clients of this Service: 
Available Training 

No end-user training is provided to clients on how to utilize the service.

How to Request the Service 

Staff members working in the non-academic buildings.

Clients are required to submit printer support requests via any of the IT Service Desk available options - See Further Information or Support.

How to Access the Service 

Printers are connected directly to the client’s computer and our specialist will test its functionality.

Fees 

Printer support service is provided to the clients without any fees. Printer purchase requests require a departmental budget and IT approval.
