How do I make a call within and outside AUS campus ?

• To make a call within the university phone system, simply dial the four digit extension.

• To make a call outside the university phone system but inside Sharjah boundaries, dial 9 followed by the seven-digit number.

                Example: 9-1234567

• To make a call outside the university phone system and outside Sharjah boundaries, dial 9 followed by the area code number and seven-digit number.

                Example: To call Dubai, dial 9-04-1234567

       NOTE: Common Codes: [Dxb=04, AD=02, FUJ=09, RAK=07, Etisalat=050, DU=055]

• To make a call outside the country, dial 9 followed by the country code to which you are making the call and then the number.

                Example:To call Egypt, dial 9-0020-1234567 

• To call a number inside the university phone system from off-campus, dial 06-515 followed by the four digit extension.

                Example: To call AUS Call Center, dial 06-515-2100
