I'm getting a Blackboard 'Sign On Error!'. What to do?

Before you apply the proposed fix below, check if you have any holds if you are a student. Pay a visit o the Student Accounts Office and find out if you have any holds as some holds might disable you access to Blackboard.

If you see this error, you will need to clear the history, cache, and cookies on your web browser.  Below are links for instructions for those steps on Google Chrome and on Firefox (the two recommended browsers for Blackboard SaaS).  Again, this is a temporary measure until we have a proper fix.  You may need to follow these steps multiple times - clearing the browser history. After fixing this error, it could come back and you may need to repeat the same steps once again.
